Preface of Lei Jing by Jing-yue Zhang is an excellent article in both Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM） and Chinese ancient literature books. It has rich content, thorough reasoning and fluent expression. This paper analyzed the content and feelings of the preface of Lei Jing by J ing-yue Zhang, summarized his medical feelings, such as believing in the medical classic of Huang Di Nei Jing, emphasizing its function and value, having strong social awareness and responsibility, paying attention to study the medical theory as well as make bold innovation, having stringent academic attitude, working hard and making great contribution to TCM. He put his heart into feelings of deep concern for TCM, with staunch belief and ideal, with full of strong medical feelings.
