Medical Drama:The Main Platform of Health Culture Communication

医疗剧作为一种大众传播媒介,是医学与社会沟通的桥梁,使患者、社会能够更加立体地了解医学、医院和医生,应承担起健康文化传播的社会责任。通过分析中美医疗剧在编剧、制作、传播中的差异,提出国产医疗剧应取长补短,借鉴美国医疗剧的发展经验,本着尊重科学、敬畏生命、尊重事实、崇尚人文的原则,追求医学专业特质的严肃性,呈现医学技术的有限性,正视医疗差错的不可避免性,体现医学专业精神的内涵,制播根植于中国文化背景、具有本土特点的精品医疗剧,发挥健康文化传播主阵地的引领作用。

As a kind of mass media, medical drama is a bridge for the communication between medicine and communities. It enables patients and society having a better understanding of medicine, hospitals and doctors. Therefore, it should take the social responsibility of spreading the health culture. By analyzing the differences between Chinese and American medical dramas in playwriting, production and dissemination, this paper suggested that domestic medical drama should learn from the development experiences of American medical dramas, pursuing the seriousness of the medical profession, showing the limited nature of medical technology, facing to the inevitability of medical errors and reflecting the connotation of medical professionalism in the principles of respecting science and facts, reverencing for life and advocating humanities. Good medical drama should have local characteristics and be rooted in Chinese culture and play a leading role in health culture communication.
