Discussion on Hu Kuangzhong's study of classics

胡匡衷是清乾隆年间徽州著名的经学家,研究著作颇多。他开创家学,以礼学传家,主要特点是"以经证经"和"以朴学为主的汉宋兼采"。胡匡衷在《仪礼》学研究领域成就突出。其礼学著作为家族后世治经指明了方向,提供了更多的源头活水,受其影响,一家之内,数世相承,专治一学,成就斐然。

Hu Kuangzhong was a famous classics scholar in Qianlong＇s Empire in the Qing Dynasty. He wrote many research works on classics and created family literature with a good general family heirloom. The main characteris- tics of his research works was proving classics by means of classics and dominating philology sics in the Han and Song Dynasties. Hu Kuangzhong made great achievements in research with integration of elas- on Yili classics and his works gave direction to the descendant family education and created more original famous works. Under the influ- ence of his classic works, his philosophy was inherited generation after generation in a family. Hu Kuangzhong de- voted his life to classics research and made great achievements.
