技术追赶中商业模式设计与技术创新战略共演--阿里巴巴集团纵向案例研究

Co-evolution of business model design and technology innovation strategy in the process of technological catch-up——A case study of Alibaba Group

互联网信息技术的高速发展为后发企业技术追赶提供了新的情境。中国后发企业在技术追赶中表现突出,一些企业已经从追赶进入赶超阶段。通过对互联网科技领军企业阿里巴巴的纵向单案例研究,探索了后发企业技术追赶过程中商业模式设计和技术创新战略的共演机制,建立了一个将环境、商业模式设计—技术创新战略、技术追赶以一种复合视角联系起来的框架,得出主要结论:(1)商业模式设计与技术创新战略的动态匹配及其共同演化,是后发企业实现技术追赶的重要模式;(2)该共演过程会与所处环境形成良好互动,从而更好实现技术追赶;(3)技术追赶的成效会反过来影响后发企业组织架构的设计和战略的选择。研究结论从理论和实践上丰富了现有后发企业技术追赶研究。

The rapid development of Internet information technology provides a new situation for technological catch - up of late- comer firms. Chinese latecomer firms perform outstandingly in technological catch - up. Some of them have gone from catch - up to surpassing. By analyzing Chinese largest Internet company Alibaba as a longitudinal case, this research explores the co - evo- lution mechanism of business model design and technology innovation and establishes a co - evolution framework of environment, business model design, technology innovation strategy and technology catch - up with composite perspective. It has three main conclusions ： （ 1 ） The dynamic fit and co - evolution of business model design and technology innovation strategy is the important mode for latecomer＇ s technological catch - up. （2） The process of co - evolution has good interaction with the environment, which is better for technological catch -up; （3） technological catch -up affects design of organization configuration and choice of strategy. These conclusions will enrich the research of technological catch - up from the perspective of theory and practice.
