In China, the martial arts artistic works come in variety of forms, ranging from films, TV series to fiction, they are in great favor with Chinese audiences. With the rise and growth of CG illustrations, Chinese illustration artists seek to enter the time-honored area of great potential. Martial arts not only means one kind of style, but also embodies one kind of cultural heritage. This paper, in combining traditional culture with martial arts elements, aims to make a study of martial arts style CG illustrations from the perspective of traditional Chinese culture.
