宋蒙(元)战争时期四川地区的残破与财政困境

The Decline and Financial Difficulties in Sichuan Area during the War Between the Song Dynasty and Mongolia (the Yuan Dynasty)

蒙古人进犯四川后,试图以武力强行征服四川地区,大量百姓死亡、逃离,官府与民众财产损失惨重,对四川地区的农业、工商业造成了极大的破坏。四川地方政府为筹措军费,大量发行纸币,导致严重的通货膨胀,物价高涨,政府财政愈发窘迫,陷入了恶性循环。蒙(元)犯蜀,使得曾经发达的四川地区就此衰落下去。

Mongols invaded Sichuan and tried to conquer it by force, which led a large number of people to be killed or to flee , caused serious property damage for local government and individuals and great disaster to agriculture, industry and commerce in Sichuan area. Lots of paper money was issued by the local government to raise military spending, which gave rise to serious inflation, rising prices and increasing financial distress. The invasion of Mongol （ the Yuan dynasty） brought the once prosperous economy in Sichuan area to an end.
