Review and Thinking of Water Conservancy History of the Song Dynasty

宋代水利史研究涉及水利法规、水利管理机构、农田水利、城市水利、水环境等多个方面并且表现出不同的地域特色。北方水利建设主要以政府为主导,南方水利建设则更多地突出了民间力量的作用。从中可以看出,宋代水利史研究还可以在环境史、政治史等方面进行突破。

The research on the history of water conservancy in the Song Dynasty involves many aspects such as water conservancy regulations, water management institutions, farmland water conservancy, urban water conservancy, water environment and so on. And each shows different regional characteristics. Water conservancy construction in the north is mainly dominated by the government, folk forces plays more prominent role in the south water conservancy construction. At the same time, breakthrough can be made from the perspective of environmental and political history in the study of the history of the Song Dynasty water conservancy.
