During the period of the “May 4 th Movement”, Marxism has carried out three debates with vari -ous non-Marxist thoughts in the course of the spread of China , among which the debate on socialism is more important . The exploration and analysis of this polemics can make us more ful ly grasp the content of this polemics,which is very important for the moment we firmly believe in the socialist road with Chinese characteristics and against all kinds of erroneous thoughts .
