It is significant to mine the traffic data and optimize the road network, which is a practical wayto enhance the traffic service capability. On the basis of understanding of the characteristics of traffic flowand management of important events, this paper analyzes the problems and related impacts of theimportant events and the architecture of the traffic operations platform based on big data.
