This paper introduced the development process and main methods of project management theory, through the analysis on the develop-ment direction of project management, from the materials, design, construction, control four aspects, found out the focus of project scientific management, pointed out that the project management should pay more attention to professional technical management level, emphasizing the pragmatic work style.
