Cylinder liner as an important part of engine cylinder, the rapid wear and tear in the working process will affect the normal life of the engine.The paper expounds three kinds of conditions for the wear of cylinder liner：structural reasons,improper use and improper maintenance.On the basis of this,the measures to reduce the wear of cylinders are put forward,including proper use of lubricating oil, strengthening the maintenance of the filter, and keeping the engine working temperature.
