The development of new energy vehicles and clean fuel vehicles has become one of the most pressing and most im-portant problems in China.In the new energy vehicle diversified development strategy framework, the application and promotion of alternative fuel is particularly prominent.Coal methanol is a feasible and priority development direction,which is of great signifi-cance to ease the relative lack of China＇s oil resources,reduce environmental pollution and promote the development of China＇s auto industry.Yibin City is a rich coal area, vigorously promotes the methanol car, helps to solve the diversification of automotive energy and promotes the development of coal chemical industry.
