Today, the elevator has become a common electrical equipment in our daily life. This paper aims to discuss how to ensure the safe operation of the elevator. On the one hand, publicity and education on the proper use of elevators and prohibition of improper actions are quite necessary. On the other hand, measures to strengthen prevention, regular inspection, and timely replacement of damaged devices in the normal operation of the elevator are supposed to be taken. In addition, we need to improve the relevant laws and regulations and perfect regular supervision and inspection work.
