The process flow and characteristic of spunbonded nonwovens were introduced. And the application of five new fiber materials in spunbonded nonwovens, the technology innovations of batt formation, batt bonding were reviewed. The development trend of spunbonded nonwovens in high-speed production and environmental protection were pointed out. Finally, the challenge that spunbonded nonwovens faces and the way to deal with the challenge were proposed.
