Finding the Beauty:The Art and Cultural Connotation of Doors and Windows of Traditional Residence Architecture in Jianshui

在中国传统建筑中,门和窗占着房屋屋身部分很大的面积,是整座建筑装饰的重点。传统民居的装饰与装修,是民居空间文化内涵的外在表现。建水民居中门窗把居住者的观念、心态凝固在各种以结构构件为依托的形象符号之中。与门窗功能相对应的形象主题,是文人文化的地方选择与地方民间工艺匠师的工艺技巧的结合。该文通过对建水民居中的门窗类型和形式以及门窗工艺和题材进行调查研究,试着了解建水民居主人祟尚"儒雅"、"修身"、"齐家"的伦理道德规范和精神情趣。通过了解建水民居中门窗的美,探寻其中文化的美,空间的美,最终了解建水民居的美。

In traditional Chinese architecture, door and window of the house which take up large area of the building, is the focus of the entire building decoration. The adornment and decorate of the traditional residence architecture is the external performance of the connotation of residential space culture. The doors and windows of traditional residence architecture of Jianshui, it is the idea that combines the mentality and mind of the residents into various image symbols made of structural element. And the image subject corresponding to door window function is the combination of site selection of literati and the skills of local craftsmen. Based on the study of the type and form of doors and windows in traditional residence architecture of Jianshui as well as the technology and subject, we try to understand the ethics and the spirit of the building owners. By means of understanding the beauty of the doors and windows, we explore the beauty of culture, space, finally we understand the beauty of traditional residence architecture of Jianshui.
