摘要 包络跟踪技术采用射频信号的包络作为功率放大器的电源,从而提高功率放大器的功率附加效率(PAE)。包络信号与射频信号的同步与对齐对于整体包络跟踪系统的效率提升具有重要影响,也给测试系统带来了较大的挑战。本文介绍了利用R&S公司的矢量信号发生器SMW200A和频谱与信号分析仪FSW对基于自主设计的SOI CMOS工艺的电源调制器芯片和功率放大器芯片搭建的4G LTE终端包络跟踪系统进行测试,同时获取最佳的效率和线性度性能。 Envelope Tracking ( ET ) is a technology that radio frequency envelope is used as the supply of power am- plifier, so the Power-added Efficiency ( PAE ) is improved. The synchronization and alignment between envelope and RF signals are very important for efficiency enhancement for the ET system, but also very challenging for testing. In this paper, SOI CMOS based 4G LTE ET chipsets including supply modulator and power amplifier are tested with R&S SMW200A Vector Signal Generator and R&S FSW Signal & Spectrum Analyzer, and best trade-off between efficiency and linearity was obtained.
