Arsenopyrite is common gold-beating minerals in the gold deposit. The basic characteristics of arsenopyrite in the gold deposit and its current status were briefly described. It focused on describing the occurrence characteristics, physical and chemical characteristics, the gold modes of occurrence, isotope geochemical characteristics and development of ar- senopyrite study, combining with the problems found in research, and introduced the developing key points and prospect of arsenopyrite research in various periods, to facilitate the comprehensive understanding of arsenopyrite research and develop- ment status
