A review of interbank RMB market performance in April 2017

2017年4月，银行间本币市场交易活跃度下降，当月交易总量为57．675亿元，日均成交3万亿元，交易总量环比下降18．3％。银行间货币市场资金面偏紧，活跃期限利率上行；现券到期收益率整体上行，曲线平坦化，信用利差长短端收窄，中端走阔；互换利率上行，主要交易品种收盘曲线高位震荡。

In April 2017, the trading of the interbank RMB market decreased and totaled 57.6 trillion yuan with a daily average of 3 trillion yuan, down 18.3% month-on-month. The interbank money market liquidity tightened up slightly, and the rates of varieties with active maturities shifted upwards; the yields to maturity of cash bonds went up with the yield curves going flatter; the long end and short end of credit spreads narrowed down whereas the medium end edged wider; the IRS rates went up and the closing curves of major traded varieties maintained fluctuatincl at high levels.
