摘要
本研究以云南沧源佤族中学生为例,探究第三语言学习者元语言意识和心理语言距离的相关性。研究发现,双语背景下受试在第三语言学习中并未表现出元语言意识优势,且对第三语言表现出较远的心理语言距离感;第三语言学习者元语言意识与心理语言距离呈显著负相关关系;元语言意识能较好地解释和预测心理语言距离。本研究旨在对第三语言教学进行认知和心理干预提供参考。
The present study, with Wa middle school students in Cangyuan, Yunnan, focuses on exploring the correlation between metalinguistic awareness and perceived language distance. The main findings are:(1) Metalinguistic awareness advantage is not detected among the subjects of the third language in a bilingual context, and learners perceive big distance to the third language;(2) Metalinguistic awareness and perceived language distance among the third language learners are correlated significantly and negatively;(3) Perceived language distance can be well explained and predicted by metalinguistic awareness. It is hoped that this study will shed light on the cognitive and psychological interventions in the third language teaching and learning.
