Teaching Research on Three Variables of Simplex Method in Operations Research

本文探讨了运筹学中单纯形法涉及的三种变量——剩余变量、松弛变量和人工变量的教学,从三种变量的定义出发系统地阐述了它们的联系、区别及应用并举例说明,对运筹学的教学具有一定的参考价值。

This paper explores the teaching of three variables in- volved in the simplex method in operations research： the surplus variable, the slack variable and the artificial variable. From the definition of the three variables, it expounds systematically their connections, differences and applications, together with an appli- cation example, which has certain reference value for the teach- ing of operations research.
