Applied research is one of the missions of universities of applied sciences. This paper summarizes the experience of scientific research and construction of European applied univer- sities of sciences, and combined with the exploration and practice of logistics management specialty of Tianjin Sino-German Uni- versity of Applied Sciences, provides reference and inspiration for the research and construction of management specialties of Chi- nese universities of applied sciences.
