民办本科院校英语专业翻译教学模式探讨

On Innovating Teaching Mode of Translation Courses for English Majors in Private Colleges

民办本科院校英语专业的系列翻译课程以提高学生的翻译能力为教学目标,是实施应用型英语人才培养方案的重要组成部分。在分析民办本科院校英语专业翻译教学存在的主要问题的基础上,本文提出"教学翻译"和"翻译教学"兼而有之的翻译教学定位,认为新的建构主义翻译教学模式应以提高教师跨学科的理论素养、构建学生的多元学习模式、强化翻译实践训练和增加翻译职业与翻译技术知识为其实施途径。该模式不仅能提高学生的翻译实践能力,对英语专业教学改革也具有积极的作用。

As an integral part of teaching curriculum, translation courses for English majors in private colleges are aimed at de- veloping students＇translation competency. On the basis of analyzing problems in actual teaching process, this paper holds that transition from teaching translation to translation teaching should be the focus, and points out the importance of innovating teaching mode, the main factors of which are improving teachers＇theoretical knowledge across different disciplines, constructing multi -learning modes, enhancing translation practice and infusing translation technology and tools in teaching. The tentative research is not only beneficial to improving students＇translation skills, but also to general English teaching.
