With the development of the globalization process, the internationalization of higher education has become the mainstream trend of world education. International students are an important part of the internationalization of higher education. The international flow of students is an important reference for assessing the iqternationalization of higher education. Britain is one of the countries with the highest degree of internationalization of higher education. Its policy and development trend is the bench- mark of global higher education development. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to study the internationalization of higher education in this country. This paper explores the motiva- tions and policies of the UK to promote the flow of transnational students, the relevant policies and the current situation and problems of transnational student flow in British universities.
