东南亚是"一带一路"建设的重点地区和优先方向,实现可持续发展是中国与东南亚合作的主要目标。在中国与东盟国家共同努力下,"一带一路"建设取得诸多积极成果。东南亚政治社会稳定,经济发展态势良好,各国政府愿意将本国发展战略与"一带一路"建设实现有效对接。特朗普执政后,美国内外政策有所调整与变化,为"一带一路"倡议下中国东盟合作升级提供了相对良好的外部环境和难得的历史机遇。"一带一路"建设有望在东南亚以超出人们想象的速度获得长足进步,成为新的历史时期世界范围和平发展、合作发展的成功典范。

Southeast Asia is a prioritized region of the ＂Belt and Road＂ initiative, and achieving sustainable development is the main goal of cooperation between China and Southeast Asia. With the joint efforts of China and ASEAN countries, many positive results have been obtained in the development of the ＂Belt and Road＂ initiative. Southeast Asia enjoys political and social stability and good economic development, with all governments willing to link their national development strategy to the initiative. After Trump took office, there have been some adjustments and changes to the US internal and external policies, which provides a relatively good external environment and a rare historical opportunity for China-ASEAN cooperation upgrade under the initiative. The initiative is expected to achieve progress greater than what people can imagine in Southeast Asia, and become a successful example in terms of world peaceful development and cooperation in the new historical period.
