烟台是中国现代葡萄酒工业的发源地，是全国最大的葡萄酒主产区。烟台葡萄酒产业历史悠久、实力雄厚。早在1892年，爱国华侨张弼士先生就在烟台投资建设了中国近代第一家也是当时远东地区最大的新式酿酒公司一张裕酿酒公司，开创了中国工业化酿造葡萄酒的新纪元。
Yantai is the home of modem grape wine industry and biggest main production area of grape wine in China. Yantai＇s wine industry enjoys a long history with great strength. As early as 1892, ZHANG Bishi, a patriotic overseas Chinese invested and built in Yantai Changyu Wine Company, the first novel wine company in modem China and the biggest novel wine company in the Far East, ushering in a new epoch for China＇s industrialized wine making.
