The Story of Chinese Toon Sprouts

香椿不是哪个地方的都香。作为烟台香椿主产地，由于独特的气候和土质，我的老家——胶东屋脊栖霞市大庄头北部山区的香椿品质上好。每年四月天，随便在老家的山耩地堰一走，成排的香椿树像吃了补药似的，一个劲儿地往上窜嫩芽。就像照片里的样，嫩嫩的，脆脆的，红叶肥梗，香气浓郁，掐根放在嘴里，满嘴喷香。

Chinese toon sprouts growing in different areas have different tastes. As the main production area of Chinese toon sprouts in Yantai, my hometown--the northern mountainous region of Dazhuangtou, Qixia, Jiaodong ridge, has the best Chinese toon sprouts due to its unique climate and soil. Every April, if you take a random walk in the fields in my hometown, you will find rows after rows of Chinese toon trees sprouting vigorously like having tonic.
