广东省机械工程学会科学技术奖、广东省机械工业科学技术奖颁奖大会隆重召开

Research on Rainfall Liquid-Level Measurement Based on Machine Vision System

2017年3月31日，2016年度广东省机械工程学会科学技术奖、广东省机械工业科学技术奖颁奖大会在中国电器科学研究院威凯检测技术有限公司隆重召开。中国工程院院士、广东省科协副主席、奖励委员会主任瞿金平教授，加拿大工程院院士、汕头大学执行校长顾佩华教授，广东省经信委产业发展处陈杰辉调研员，广东省科学技术协会学会部谢洪部长，广东省机械工程学会、广东省机械行业协会的领导，相关学（协）会负责人，以及奖励委员会委员、获奖单位代表共120多人出席了会议。

Liquid-level detection had been widely used in the industry production. The traditional level measurement methods has disadvantage of large space demand, low degree of intelligence and complicated calibration processes. A rainfall liquid-level measurement system was proposed based on machine vision. The image was captured by the camera, then the calibration circles were positioned and liquid level measurement was realized. This system was easy to calibrate and measure by using subsection interpolation method. Experimental results show that the proposed rainfall liquid-level measurement system has the advantages of easy installation and calibration, and can run steady.
