摘要
本文以SBCSAE(Santa Barbara Corpus of Spoken American English)为研究语料,通过变异语用学视角,提取、分类语料,分析美国口语英语中教育程度对话语标记语you know的使用频率所产生的影响。结果发现:美国口语英语中教育程度对you know的使用频率存在影响,教育程度较高的人使用频率高于教育程度较低的人,并且使用频率差异明显。
This study analyzes the influences that education makes on the frequency of the discourse marker 'you know' in spoken American English through the perspective of variational pragmatiCs with the whole SBCSAE (Santa Barbara Corpus of Spoken American English) classified. The result shows that education does make influence on the frequency of 'you know' in spoken American English, and higher education makes 'you know' more frequent and the difference is obvious.
