“Red May” and Qu Qiubai's “Revolution” Narrative

在中国共产党早期成长发展史上,由"五一""五四""五五""五七""五卅"构成的系列纪念活动,大革命时期即被冠之以称为"红色的五月"。瞿秋白此间写作的系列纪念文本通过对纪念日所指称的历史事件的重新解读,建构起一套"革命"叙事话语体系。这一叙事话语体系传播了马克思主义,起到整合思想、表达诉求、展示力量、呼应指导实践之亟需的重要作用,彰显出瞿秋白新民主主义革命思想的萌芽。

In the early development history of Chinese eommunist party, there were a series of memorame activities such as ＂May Day＂, ＂May 4th＂, ＂May 5th＂, ＂May 7th＂,＂May 30th＂, The Great Revolution period was known as ＂Red May＂. Qu Qiuhai＇s series of memorable texts reinterpreted the historical events on the telated anniversaries, which construeted a set of consistent ＂revolution＂ narrative systems. These narrative systems spread the Marsism-Leninism and played a role in integrating thoughts, expressing the demands, showing strength and appealing to praetice demands, which demonstrated the bud of the new democratic revolution.
