The Brief Introduction to the Comparison of the Architectures Between China and the Western Countries

因为中国和西方历史文化起源不同,经过发展中西方民族各自呈现出有明显差异的哲学思维、历史文脉、性格气质和审美情趣等,这些诸多的因素深刻的影响着建筑艺术的文化内涵。本文总结和对比了中西建筑在材料与结构、建筑组群布局、装饰色彩、艺术风格、美学艺术等方面存在的差异。在此基础上分析中国传统建筑与西方传统建筑的差异。

Because of the diverse historical and cultural origin between China and Western countries, it＇ s clear to see the differ- ences in philosophical thinking, the diachronic context, the aesthetic temperament and the interest about the two regions, through centu- ries of development. All of these factors influence the cultural connotation of art in architecture. This paper summarizes and compares the chinese and the western architecture＇ s discrepancy in the material and structure, buildings＇ layout, decoration, colors, and artistic style. Based on these, this paper also contrast the differences between traditional chinese construction and traditional western construction.
