Trade Pattern of Nine Provinces in the Silk Road Economic Belt

丝绸之路经济带建设作为"一带一路"经济开放陆上战略的核心部分,战略实施上宜把推进国内地区对外贸易发展作为先行关键点。近年来,丝绸之路经济带国内主要涉及的重庆、陕西、新疆等9省(区、市)对外贸易保持顺差,出口集聚优势显现,取得了一定的发展成效。然而,9省(区、市)仍然存在外贸发展速度趋缓、省域间外贸水平差距较大、贸易产品层次偏低等问题。为此,9省(区、市)未来外贸发展在总体战略原则上应深化对外经济开放,制定贸易专项规划;具体措施取向上应坚持引导贸易与投资相结合,强化省域间贸易与产业合作,培育贸易与产业竞争优势,在实现丝绸之路经济带贸易畅通中发挥积极作用。

With the construction of Silk Road Economic Belt being the core of the land strategy of ＂The Belt and Road＂ economic opening, its strategy implementation should firstly focus on the advancement of foreign trade development in local regions. In recent years, the nine provinces （districts or cities） on the Silk Road Economic Belt such as Chongqing, Shanxi and Xinjiang, maintains a foreign trade surplus and shows export advantages, which proves the achievements in foreign trade. However, there are still some problems such as the slowdown in the development of foreign trade, the large gap between regional foreign trade and the relatively low level of trade products. So, on general strategic principle, the future development of foreign trade in the regions above should deepen the economic opening and make trade special plans. And specific measures, like guiding the combination of trade and investment, strengthening regional trade and industrial cooperation, and cultivating trade and industrial competitive advantage, could play an active role in smoothening the trade on the Silk Road Economic Belt.
