含蓄否定及其对语用原则的体现

含蓄否定是语句中不出现否定词语 ,而使用委婉间接的方式来表示否定意义。这种否定方式不仅达到了否定的目的 ,而且还可以使否定变得礼貌得体 ,甚至使否定的意义显得更加强烈。借助词汇手段、语法手段、修辞手段来表达否定意义是含蓄否定的主要表现形式。

Implied negation means expressing negative meanings in tactful and indirect terms instead of using negative words in a sentences. It can not only express the negative aim, but make negation more polite and appropriate. It can even make negative meaning much stressed. Applying lexical devices, such as grammar and rhetorical ones to express negative meaning, is the main form of the implied negation.
