地方高校教师面临的教学与研究困境及对策

人才培养和科学研究作为大学的两项基本职能,既相辅相成又相互掣肘。地方普通高校是为区域社会发展和经济建设培养人才的主要力量,应将保障教学质量、提升教学水平作为立校之本,然后鼓励教师进行科学研究,进而推动专业学科建设。地方高校应协调处理好教学工作与科学研究的关系,并确立相应的管理保障机制,充分发挥教师的积极主动性,做到人尽其用,各展其才,才能保证教学和科研的平衡发展,逐步提升整体办学水平。

As fundamental functions of university, personnel training and science researching are supplementary and eonflietive to each other. Teaching-oriented local universities play very important roles in training talents for re- gional social and economic development. For these universities, the quality and level of teaching are principal founda- tions, on which science researching can be based. Teaching-oriented local universities should coordinate the relation- ship between teaching and science researching, and establish relevant guarantee system to improve teachers＂ initiative, then the development of teaching and science researching can be balanced, and the school-running level will be pro- moted.
