As an innovative teaching approach, MOOCs set off a new upsurge of reform in the field of higher education. MOOCs are typically designed around a self-guided format to ensure the scale, interactivity, openness and effectiveness of learning. How to make use of MOOCs to enrich the teaching of clinical pharmacy offers a fertile field for study. This study analyzes advantages of teaching with MOOCs, and with clinical medicine courses, for example, it discusses the instructional design. MOOCs might be an innovative, effective and efficient approach to deliver clinical medicine courses education.
