An Initial Probe into the Study of Focus in the Sentence Structure

准确把握焦点信息是领会句子中最重要信息的关键。语言不同,凸显焦点信息的手段也不同。在焦点信息结构中,焦点敏感算子直接影响或管辖焦点信息在句子中的位置及充当句子焦点的成分,其对焦点的确定、焦点结构的语义解释以及对语句中焦点的准确把握很重要。

The study of information focus in sentence structure is not new yet very much appealing to lin- guists nowadays. Information focus is of primary importance concerning grasping the most significant infor- mation in a sentence. Different measures are taken when one wants to make the key information prominent. It is proved that focus sensitive operator plays a vital role in deciding which part of a sentence is the focus information and also, the achievement of focus is different between Chinese and English.
