Taking literature and movies as examples, we can analyze the modelling and the definition of modelling, and interpret the base, the relationship between the modelling and reality, and the distinctive features of the modelling, such as innovation of images, the system of the modelling and its connotations, and the relationship between such a system and cognition. Only in this way can we draw an objective conclusion to the modelling theory of Lotman.
