Effects of drug price on drug innovation-from the perspective of system dynamics

本文旨在研究药品价格对于企业从事药品创新活动的影响,推动我国医药产业的发展。采用系统动力学的方法,利用系统因果图分析药品价格对药品创新的影响路径。药品价格通过影响药品的市场销量、临床需求度和外部创新环境最终影响药品的创新活动。政府对药品市场进行管理要完善专利保护,对不同药品从价格上体现层级、适当程度的保护企业利益促进创新等。

The aim of the article is to study the effect of drug price on the engagement of enterprises in drug innovation activities thus to promote the development of pharmaceutical industry. Using the method of system dynamics, the effect path through which drug price influences the innovative activities was analyzed by causality diagram. The drug price affects the innovative activities through market demands, clinical demand and innovation environment. The government should manage the pharmaceutical markets to perfect the patent protection, reflect the quality levels of drugs by setting different prices, and appropriately protect the interests of the enterprises to promote innovation.
