Research on the Development of Regional Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Driven by University of Waterloo in Canada and Its Implications

As an important source of regional knowledge creatinn and technology innovation, colleges and universities are increasingly becoming the leading force of entrepreneurial ecosystem. University of Waterloo in Canada has cultivated a large number of innovative and entrepreneurial talents with its world-renowned cooperative edueation model hy means of Speed City incubator and loose intellectual properly policy. It is dedicated to serving the social and economic development of the Waterloo region and pushing forward the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem within the framework, which should be used for reference in China to innovate the operational models of higher education institutions, perfect the management policy of intellectual pruperty, and set up the practice platform of innovation and entrepreneurship.
