福建畲族服装按照服饰形制可分为福安装、罗源装、霞浦装东路式、霞浦装西路式四种服装结构形式。由于近现代受民族融合因素、环境因素、价值观因素的影响,福建畲族服饰变迁具有服装款式由简至繁、服装色彩由蓝至黑再到多样化、服装纹样由简至繁再到多元化、服装部件功能与形状的改变等特征,由此我们可以从服装色彩、服装工艺、服装图案、服装面料等方面发现传统畲族服饰传承和创新的方法。
