In the rapid development of economy, economic globalization has become the main trend of the current society during the economic development. On the basis of such development, the coordination of the corresponding industrial structure, especially the effective use of network technology and information technology, accelerate the development of China＇s logistics industry. As for the development of trade, English, as an important communication tool, has an irreplaceable position in trade. This paper analyses the strong professional characteristics of business English and explores its obvious role in the development of the logistics industry, and puts forward the suggestions of development of business English in the logistics economy. Business English can strengthen the supply chain system in the logistics economy and ensure that China＇s enterprises can be integrated into the market competition. It can also ensure effective sharing of advanced scientific and technnlogical achievements and has great significance on the development of China＇s economy.
