The establishment ofnature reserveand effective management are strategic measures for biodiversity conservation. Itis alsoa powerful means to carry out biodiversity conservation and biological resources protection. It is an effective measure to protect natural resources and environment and maintain the integrity and stability of forest ecosystems. The paper expounded the general situation of Yiwu Nature Reserve in Xishuangbanna and put forward some countermeasures through the analysis of the existing problems in the construction of protected areas.
