民族事务治理是多民族国家治理的重要内容。党的十八大以来,以习近平同志为核心的党中央在深入调查研究的基础上,运用马克思主义的立场观点方法,深入分析了民族工作面临的新情况、新问题、新挑战,科学研判了民族工作新的阶段性特征,深刻回答了新形势下推进中国特色民族团结进步事业面临的一系列重大理论和实践问题;举旗定向,凝聚共识,深化了对多民族国情、民族关系、民族与国家关系等重大理论与实践问题的认识,丰富和发展了马克思主义民族理论及政策实践,开启了中国特色民族团结进步事业的新航程。

Ethnic affairs governance is an important part of multi-national governance. Since the 18th National Congress of CPC, the Party Central Committee with Xi Jinping as the core, have made an in-depth analysis of the new situation, new problems and new challenges, scientific studies and judgment of the characteristics of ethnic work in the new stage, and profound answers for a series of important theoretical and practical problems in promoting the course of national unity and progress with Chinese characteristics in the new situation on the basis of thorough investigations and studies and by applying Marxist stance viewpoints and methods. It points out the correct direction, builds consensus, and deepens the understanding of important theoretical and practical problems concerning multiethnic situation, ethnic relation as well as the relation between ethnic groups and the state. It enriches and develops Marxist ethnic theory and policy practice and starts a new voyage of the course of national unity and progress with Chinese characteristics.
