“转注”许意考

The Study on Xushen's Research on “ZHUANZHU”

历代诸家对"转注"都有考证,但终无定论。要明"转注",须从许慎所给定义及其例字来考,同时辅之以《说文》相关内容。许意之下的"转注",首先,须是同一部首;其次,部首所辖之字的部首义是部属字之本义(原本之义);最后,该字和部首间之义可以互相容受。

Different scholars in the different times have studied the ZHUANZHU, but there is no conclusion. Inorder toknowZHUANZHUwell, we should studyonXushen＇s definitionandhis examples at first. Then, we should also know the relevant content of Shuo Wen JieZi. ZHUANZHU of Xushen＇s under- standing has three layers. First of all, they have the same radicals. Second, the meaning of radicals of the words administered by radicals is its original meaning of the word. Finally, the meaning of the wordandtheradicalsareabletobemutuallycontainable.
