“双一流”大学建设背景下大学英语教学的方向及路径

English Teaching Tendency and Its Paths under the Background of World First Class Universities & Disciplines Construction in China

首先简要介绍我国关于建设世界"双一流"大学方案的基本内容,随后结合我国英语教学相关研究成果,探讨在世界"双一流"大学建设背景下,我国英语教学未来几年的发展方向。文章认为,我国英语教学应顺应潮流,创新发展,构建凝聚"中国元素"的英语教学模式,参与并助力"双一流"大学建设。文章最后从政策、教材、英语教师及教学活动设计四个方面,讨论了构建凝聚"中国元素"之英语教学的路径。

The paper starts with a brief introduction to the project of world first class universities ＆ discipline s construction in China and proceeds with discussions, in light of current status of English teaching, on English teaching developmental tendency in China and its paths under the background of the project and finally arrives at a conclusion that an English teaching model embodying Chinese features and conforming to social trends is expected to be constructed through innovation so as to advance the project. Possible paths to the model are explored from the aspects of policies, textbooks, teachers, and teaching activities.
