Radical resection of gastric cancer with bursectomy: yes or no?

目前进展期胃癌根治术中D2淋巴结清扫术被视为标准术式,但胃癌根治术中是否需要联合网膜囊切除,尚存在争议。其中争议的核心问题包括网膜囊切除术能否能降低胃癌局部复发,提高患者总体生存率?是否增加术后并发症发生率?本文结合笔者临床实践经验并且系统回顾相关网膜囊切除术的文献,来阐述上述热点问题,期待起到抛砖引玉的作用。

At present, D2 lymph node dissection is regarded as the standard procedure in the radical resection of advanced gastric cancer. There is still controversy over whether the radical resection of gastric cancer needs to be combined with total bursec- tomy. The central disputations of the controversy include whether bursectomy can reduce local recurrence and improve overall sur- vival, as well as increase postoperative complications. This article has combined with the author＇s clinical experience and systematic reviewed of the relevant literature in order to answer those questions. We hope this article can inspire readers to share their opinions.
