摘要 采用问卷调查和师生深度访谈相结合的方法,对广东省高职院校英语教师群体的职业能力状况进行了研究。结果表明,当前高职英语教师素质和技能总体上适应教学转型需要,但其职业能力发展状况不容乐观。职业能力结构不均衡,突出表现为信息技术与英语教学的整合能力、科研能力、服务社会能力和自主发展能力普遍较弱。基于对存在问题的综合分析,建议采取相关策略措施以提升英语教师的职业能力。 By questionnaire and interview of teachers and students in higher vocational colleges of Guangdong, the English teachers’ professional abilities have been studied. The results showed that the English teachers , quality and skills met generally the needs of English teaching transition, but the development of professional ability was not optimistic, and the ability structure was not balanced. The outstanding performance was generally weak in abilities of integrating information technology with English teaching, scientific research, social service and independent development. Based on comprehensive analysis of the problems, it is suggested that some strategic countermeasures should be taken to improve the teachers ’ professional competence.
