传统蒙古文字(下文简称为蒙古文字)字体设计起步较晚,缺乏相关理论研究。随着蒙古文字信息处理规模的扩大,对蒙古文字信息的搭载能力提出了新要求,急需加快蒙古文字字体开发与相关领域发展的脚步。蒙古文字字体设计方法是通过对蒙古文字的字形进行分析、拆分、归纳和分类后形成的一种快速设计蒙古文字字体的方法,目的在于提高蒙古文字字体设计效率和提升蒙古文字字体质量。本文将从蒙古文字的字母、合体字、数字和标点符号四个方面进行阐述。

The font design of traditional Mongolia text （hereafter this text will be abbreviated as Mongolia text）started lately, was lack of relevant theoretical research.With the expansion of the text information processing’s scale in Mongolia,puttig forward new requirements to the carrying capacity of Mongolia text font information, it needs to expedite urgently the footstep of Mongolia text font’ development and related field’s development.The design technique of Mongolia text font is a kind of method that designing Mongolia text font rapidly by analyzing,splitting,inducing and classifying the Mongolia text’s glyph, it aims at improving the design efficiency and enhancing the quality of Mongolia text font text font.This article will expound from the letter , compound characters,number and punctuation of Mongolia text in four aspects.
