蒙古族传统手工制品大致分为服装及饰品、日常生产生活用品、居所及家具三类。蒙古族图案在传统手工制品中的应用表现出了程式性与功能性的特点,并且在蒙古族图案的当下应用中,产生了品类减少、单项种类与式样增多的新变化。蒙古族图案在传统手工制品中的创新应用,一方面可以在继承传统的基础上结合当下创意产生新产品,另一方面要开拓蒙古族图案应用领域,实现传统手工制品的自觉创新。

Mongolian traditional handicraft products can be divided into three categories： clothing and accessories, daily production and necessities, home and furniture. The application of Mongolian pattern in the traditional crafts shows two characteristics：stylization and functionality,and now there are two new changes include category decrease and style increase.The innovative application of Mongolian patterns in traditional handicrafts can be combined with the current ideas on the basis of inheriting the tradition to produce new products on the one hand, on the other hand we should widen the Mongolian pattern application field to realize conscious innovating in traditional crafts.
