Systematic Layout and Practice of Faculty Development——Experience and Enlightenment of Oxford Learning Institute

教师在整个教育系统中起关键性决定作用,教师发展是世界一流大学的重要基础,教师发展中心的贡献更是功不可没。本文以Oxford Learning Institute为例,通过对其组织机构、培养模式以及特色项目方面的系统规划和实践等方面进行描述,旨在为我国高校教师发展在战略系统规划、组织机构建设、教师培养模式以及课程建设等方面提供有益借鉴。

Teachers play a decisive role in the whole education system and faculty development is an important foundation of world-class universities; consequently, the contribution of teacher development center is even more powerful. Taking Oxford Learning Institute as an example, the paper illustrates its systematic layout and practice from the following aspects： organization, training models and characteristic items. The aim is to provide beneficial references for the development of Chinese college teachers in stra- tegic system planning, organization construction, teacher training models and curriculum construction.
