摘要
美国加州大学欧文分校大学生事务管理工作以指导、服务学生,丰富学生校园生活,促进学生成长、成才为目的,努力使学生获得有意义的大学生活经历,促进学生全面发展,形成了五大特征:第一,求真务实的价值导向,以个人本位为价值取向,以发展学生为目标指向,坚持以学生为中心、主体平等的学生观,并借助务实的实践项目致力于提高学生的学业水平和各方面能力。第二,科学高效的组织管理结构。沿袭美国高校学生事务扁平化管理、多头并进的组织结构模式,管理团队分工细致、明确,运行机制科学高效。第三,多元化的综合素质培养,通过设立课外学习项目全面提升学生的综合素质,包括社区参与、提升管理能力和专业技能、责任心培养等多个项目。第四,宽领域的学生参与项目,在"多元化、合作、研究"的理念指导下,设立在校生参与学生事务管理工作项目,协助学生锻炼各方面能力,提升大学生的社会责任感和公民道德素质。第五,全球视野的就业能力训练,注重培养学生全球视野的职业获得能力和职业发展能力,帮助毕业生更好地就业并可持续地发展个人专业技能。中国高校学生事务管理工作可以借鉴美国加州大学欧文分校大学生事务管理的特征,更新理念,加强队伍建设,增强服务意识,鼓励学生参与开发项目,提升学生的就业能力,以加快学生事务管理工作的专业化进程。
The Student Affairs Management in University of California,Irvine(UCI)is targeted at regulating,providing guidance and services for students and enriching students' campus life and promoting the growth of students,which enables students to obtain meaningful university life experience,assists and participates in education and promotes the comprehensive development of the students.The University of California,Irvine in the pursuit of professional management of college students on the road has its own outstanding characteristics in the long-term practice.The first one is the value orientation of seeking truth and being practical.UCI regards the individual standard as the value orientation,developing students as the goal,adheres to the concept of taking the students as the center and equality of the subjects,and improves their academic level and the ability of all aspects with pragmatic practical projects.The second is scientific and efficient organization and management structure.UCI follows a flat management and a separate-way organizational structure mode of the United States college student affairs,and has a management team with a growing detailed and meticulous division and scientific and efficient operation mechanism.The Third is the diversity of the comprehensive quality of training.UCI's student affairs evaluation and research center improves students' comprehensive quality through the establishment of extra-curricular learning project,including participation of citizens and community,enhancement of the ability of management and professional skills,cultivation of the sense of responsibility and so on.The fourth is the wide-area projects students involved in.UCI student affairs management provides multiple-level wide-area projects students involved in,encourages students to participate in student affairs management in the project under the guidance of the concept of ' diversification,cooperation and research',assists students learning and training in ability from various aspects,and enhances students' social responsibility and sense of citizens' moral quality.The fifth is the employment ability training from the global vision.UCI attaches great importance to the cultivation of students' career access and career development from the global vision,to help graduates attain better employment and sustainable development of individual professional skills.UCI can provide references for Chinese universities in domestic affairs of college students management to further update the concept and establish a scientific and perfect theory system,to strengthen the team building and create efficient management team,to continue to enhance service awareness and encourage students to get involved,to develop projects and enhance the employment ability of students,and to speed up the professional process of student affairs management.
